(Anderson / FPE) topped the Div 1 times with a 1:09.068, followed by In the 250 National Class it was local driver Craig Fleming who was on top with a 1:09.362 followed by Dean Hawley, Sam Moss and Jon Nevile. Jason Dredge (GP) was down in 5th and Gavin Bennett (E) in 7th all on Anderson / Honda’s. With the weather looking good the timed qualifying could be quick
Qualifying. 11:50With a drying track was it going to local drivers Craig Fleming and Gavin Bennett up the front in 250 National. With the grid over subscribed all the reserves also had to Qualify. The 250 Nationals were all close and in the end it was Craig Fleming who topped the times with a 1:08.545 with Kevin Waring and Jason Dredge taking 2nd and 3rd quickest. The 2007 European Champion Gavin Bennett was in 4th. The 250 Twins (Div 1) were over 1 second per lap quicker
than the 250 Nationals. Race 1With local driver Craig Fleming on pole the 250 National grid eased up to the light. The start was clean and they set off towards fast Folly, Avon Rise and then the tight right hander at Quarry. Would they all be seen again by the end of the first lap? Gavin Bennett was the first to drop out and this was due to
a seize. Craig Fleming stopped on lap 7 with a broken ignition wire.
Mark Vaughn and Mathew Bett both retired on lap 9. Over
the line it was James Oreilly, Don Kennedy, Jason Dredge with Sam Moss taking
4th. The 250 Twins (Div 1) started some 20 seconds behind with
Race 2With the same format start as race 1 the 250 National came round to the lights first. The pack set off with a few drivers getting better starts that others. Dean Hawley was out after doing 1 lap after being hit from behind. Again it was Kennedy, Dredge, Fleming fighting it out in front. Parker, Moss and Neville were chasing hard. After starting at the back Gavin Bennett managed to get up
to 7th. The Irishman
Dewart followed Bennett home in 8th. Mathew Bett from The 250 Twins (Div 1) race started with
